British Commonwealth & European Wrestling Champion. Empire Trophy holder. Gold Honours winner, World Championship 1967
Jack Taylor was a founder member of the original British Wrestling Federation, and its magazine "Wrestling Whirl". He wrote widely for other publications such as "Ringsport", under the name of Charles Street, and more recently contributed a column in the fanzine "Wrestler Mania", edited by the late Gerald Flemming, in which he championed the cause of traditional British Professional Wrestling. He organised, promoted and was Master of Ceremonies for many wrestling tournaments in the Midlands area.
