The annual reunion of British Professional Wrestlers was held at The Bridges Public House (proprietors, the former
World Heavyweight Champion, Wayne Bridges and his bodybuilding champion wife, Sarah), in South Darenth, Dartford,
Kent, England, on Sunday 10th August 2008.

The Formalities
1. Frank Rimer opens the proceedings.
2. Peter Baines takes over as MC, as Mick McManus, Mal Mason and Baz Riley look on.
3. Mick McManus welcomes everyone to the reunion.
4. Colin Joynson reads out the roll of honour, remembering those members of the wrestling fraternity who have passed
on in the last year.

The Awards
1. Sue Moncrieff receives an award in memory of her late husband Bob.
2, 3. Joe D'Orazio remembers Johnny Kwango, and presents an award to his daughter Brennie Ash.
4. Jon Ritchie shows off his award, received from Peter Baines.
Ann Relwyskow steps up to present Al Miquet with his certificate. Al delights the audience with his acceptance speech.
Time for the "unsung heroes", as cornermen Charlie Cornish and Ted Fretwell take the limelight.
Host, and champion bodybuilder, Sarah Bridges is thrilled to present an award to her hero Dave Prowse. In his speech, Dave
declared he would best like to be remembered for his life-saving role as "The Green Cross Code Man", but many will also
recall his bodybuilding career and millions of Star Wars fans will forever know him as the evil Darth Vader.
Bob Anthony praises Jon Cortez as possibly the most technically accomplished lightweight wrestler of the modern era, and
presents him with a richly deserved award.
Rocker Richards (Martin Berry) takes the microphone, and makes a presentation to Martin Stone, who pays tribute to
the 'greats' of British Professional Wrestling. 'Rocker' will take over from Frank Rimer at next year's reunion.
1, 2. A tremendous round of applause greets Justin Richards, as he steps up to receive his award. Justin has courageously
battled back from cancer, and is now an inspiration to younger wrestling hopefuls.
3, 4. New star Danny Garnell recieves his award, and some words of wisdom from Peter Baines.
1. Wrestling historian Ray Plunkett is rewarded for his efforts.
2. Ed Mangotich says a few words.
3. Frank Rimer shows off Jinny Huckle's handiwork - a Wrestling Ring cake.
4. Sanjay Bagga rounds off the formal proceedings, on behalf of LDN Wrestling.
